CC Learning has a long standing relationship with Aspire Europe and Rod Sowden (Owner and CEO of Aspire). Aspire has extensive experience working in the UK government sector and helping organisations there deliver the Project Delivery Capability Framework (PDCF). Using Aspire's materials and your own terminology and ways of delivering projects we can create bespoke materials. Read more here.
Like Aspire, CC Learning recognises there is a big difference between achieving a competency level and passing qualifications. Aspire have built e-Learning modules to align with the key competency areas within PDCF and take the learner on a development journey that starts at Level 0 and finishes at Level 4.
While training courses are recognised to provide knowledge and understanding to undertake tasks, competency is about putting knowledge into practice and honing skills on the job
PDCF learning is organised along 3 stages:
Stage 1 Fundamentals; assumes little knowledge, and works towards awareness with some basic working concepts that contribute to project delivery. Written for the uninformed audience containing workplace exercises. Format: e-learning or trainer-led delivery.
Stage 2 Practitioner; incorporates best practice learning from methods like PRINCE2 and MSP with a more practical angle. Format: e-learning or trainer-led delivery.
Stage 3 Professional; advanced learning designed for Practitioner level of competence introduces more advanced techniques with workplace assignments and learning from those experiences. Format: e-learning, workplace assessments, and workshops.
