PRINCE2® was developed by the UK government to manage its projects and is now part of the PeopleCert PPM portfolio. PRINCE2 is the most successful project management method in the world – it has become a de facto standard in both the private and public sectors. It provides common processes, management products roles and language for use throughout all an organisation's projects. PRINCE was first published in 1990 with a focus on IT projects. It was revised for general project management and released as PRINCE2 in 1996 and significantly updated in the 2009 and again in 2017 edition with defined sets of principles, themes, processes and tailoring. As of the 1st January 2020, AXELOS and PeopleCert now refer to the 2017 edition as PRINCE2 6th Edition and PRINCE2 2009 as PRINCE2 5th Edition.
We now offer PRINCE2 7, the latest update, for our classroom courses. Please see this link here for more information on the changes.

PRINCE2 Foundation Level - 2 day - The Foundation course is ideal for those who are not knee-deep in daily project activities but need to converse with those who are or review project documentation or statuses. Those who are likely to attend a foundation course are project administrators, senior level management or project managers starting out in project management or planning to continue to practitioner at a later date. Optional - 3rd day to delve into the foundation material for a more advanced analysis (practitioner level)
PRINCE2 Practitioner Level - 3 day - The Practitioner is a Project Manager level certification, with more than 500,000 certified practitioners not having a PRINCE2 practitioner certificate could put you at a disadvantage when applying for project management jobs in some sectors. At the very least it could put you ahead of the pack! CC Learning recommends that if you plan on doing your foundation and practitioner exams you should do it in the same week.
There are no new materials presented in these 3 days, it is all about using the scenario based practice exams to focus on application of the framework learned in the foundation level.
These certifications are valid for 3 years. Please contact us for options to renew.
