AXELOS CERTIFICATIONS (PRINCE2, PRINCE Agile, MSP, MoP, MoV, MoR, P3O, AgileSHIFT)

All certifications now issued by PeopleCert are valid for 3 years, for both foundation and practitioner levels.

From January 2023, these certifications listed above will be issued with a renew-by date three years from the award date. Candidates that choose not to renew their certification within 3 years of the award date will still be included on the Successful Candidates Register (SCR) but a note will be added to their record to indicate that their certification is not aligned with current certification requirements.

To maintain these certifications –

1. Check / monitor your expiry date by logging into the PeopleCert portal and viewing your certifications
2. Contact us to discuss options before any expiry date. These may include re-doing the same training/exam OR completing another certification within the product suite OR collecting CPD points annually.

You can choose to renew your certification by attending another course  the same or within the product suite and taking an exam successfully before the renewal date.

They have grouped these certifications into Product Suites to facilitate easy renewal and support your ongoing professional development. Certifications within a Product Suite all share the same renew by date.  For CPD submission, renewal takes place at Product Suite level.

Product suites are as follows:

• Project, Programme & Portfolio Management Product Suite: PRINCE2®, PRINCE2® Agile, MoR®, MSP®, MoV®, MoP®, P3O®
• AgileSHIFT® Product Suite: All AgileSHIFT® certifications

PeopleCert have an exclusive membership programme called MyAxelos which allows you re-certify by collecting CPD points each year of your certification (by a mix of further training, attending industry events, shadowing a work colleague, and the like), and maintain your knowledge with access to resources and advice. Upon achieving your foundation or practitioner certification, you are welcome to login into PeopleCert portal to redeem their offer for a complimentary one-month free subscription to trial the programme before committing.  You are then welcome to extend this and pay your annual membership fee to PeopleCert so you can log your points each year.

APMG (Change management, AgilePM, BBC, Managing Benefits, PPC, CLCA)

These certifications achieved at foundation level have no expiry date. However, at Practitioner level, your registration of your achievement does expire after 5 years for these 2 products - Change Management and AgilePM.

To re-register, training and the exam needs to be re-visited, albeit they are usually shorter exams!  Please contact us for options.
