View PRINCE2 Agile Course Dates

PRINCE2 Agile® is the world’s most complete project management solution, combining the flexibility and responsiveness of the Agile way of working with the governance strengths of the PRINCE2® framework. The certification was updated in 2017 from a PRINCE2 Practitioner extension level to the current stand-alone Foundation & Practitioner format.  You will learn about PRINCE2 and agile working practices and how to combine the two. 

The course is suitable for

This course is targeted at anyone who is working in projects (project manager or otherwise) who currently has not achieved a certification in PRINCE2, however please note that exposure to or some knowledge of this framework will make the course easier. This is also targeted at professionals working in an agile environment who are seeking more structure and governance to their current delivery work. Typical roles could include Scrum Master/Agile Coach, Delivery Team member (e.g. Developer), and Product Owner or Product Manager.

Pre-requisites

There are no official pre-requisites for this new foundation level, however it is strongly recommended for the best outcome of this course is to have some experience or exposure to PRINCE2 (not just project management).

Please note that there are pre-requisites to sit the Practitioner level exam. Please note that PeopleCert will recognize the prior learning and achievements of individuals within the Project Management Professional community, who want to gain this practitioner qualification. Candidates who wish to have their prior certification recognized must be able to provide documentary proof that their qualification remains current. Recognition is given for various qualifications from PMI and IPMA. Please ask us for more detail.

Examinations

• PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam - a one hour multiple-choice closed-book examination with 50 questions (pass mark 55%, a score of 28/50)
• PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam - a two and half hour exam open-book (PRINCE2 Agile manual only allowed) with a total of 50 marks available (10 per 5 questions, 30/50 or 60% to pass)

PRINCE2 Agile Foundation level - 3 day - Designed to help professionals tailor management controls when working in an agile environment, this certification will help you to understand PRINCE2 governance requirements, agile concepts and techniques and the interface between them.

PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner level - 2 day - We assume you are already familiar with PRINCE2 and agile due to your prior training. The syllabus does not refresh on these so it is important that your knowledge is current. This course leads on from the new Foundation qualification which helps delegates understand the basic concepts of agile, PRINCE2 and combining the two, to work through the life cycle of a project.
