This is a two day course with the Foundation exam included in the form of a voucher for an online sitting, the official guide in digital  format (print version is available as optional extra), a CC Learning workbook, and catering if attending live.

It is recommended for managers who have responsibility for ensuring that their organisation's projects and programmes are properly co-ordinated in order to successfully deliver the required strategic objectives. Topics covered are: Portfolio Management Concepts, Implementing Portfolio Management and Portfolio Definition and Delivery Cycles. The fee includes examination fees, refreshments and MoP manual.

The purpose of the Foundation certification is to confirm you have sufficient knowledge and understanding to work as an informed member of a Portfolio Office or in a range of portfolio management roles. The Foundation level is also a pre-requisite for the Practitioner certification.

  • Multiple choice
  • 50 questions per paper
  • 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) - 50%
  • 40 minutes duration
  • Closed book.

  • 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) - 50%
  • 3 hours duration
