This course is based on the 2015 syllabus aligned to CMBoK; APMG have developed a syllabus, exams and course based on this professional "body of knowledge" published in 2013 by the Change Management Institute (CMI) to help organisations and their people deal with change. They have worked with Kogan Page to publish an examinable text - "The Effective Change Manager's Handbook" published late 2014. Please note there is recommended pre-course work and homework during the course to best prepare you to earn your certification.

You will:
- Improve your ability to change by managing reactions and develop an understanding of change by identifying the impacts that initiatives can have and learning to address them

- Learn about change theories and how to apply the appropriate theory for an organisation's specific needs. This will enhance the way colleagues and organisations deal with and embrace change as well as establishing personal change management processes based on learnings
- Know how to take people through the various phases of transition and lead change more effectively with less resistance and more support
- Help you understand how to react to change so you are equipped to lead more effectively and sympathetically.
On successful completion of this course you will achieve your APMG Change Management Foundation certification and be eligible to complete our Change Management practitioner training which if successful, will provide you with a 5-year certification that is globally recognised and increasingly in demand. You are also able to fast-track CMI accreditation processes with this course. Recognized by ACMP under their Qualified Education Provider (QEP®) scheme.

The focus of the Practitioner level is using the sample exam to discuss, analyse and use class experiences/scenarios to debate "what good looks like" in preparation for the live exam and set a base for further development in the real world.
On successful completion of this course you will be a Change Management practitioner - a 5-year certification that is globally recognised and increasingly in demand. You are also able to fast-track CMI accreditation processes with this course.
