PRINCE2® was developed by the UK government to manage its projects and is now part of the AXELOS PPM portfolio. PRINCE2 is the most successful project management method in the world – it has become a de facto standard in both the private and public sectors. It provides common processes, management products roles and language for use throughout all an organisation’s projects.
PRINCE was first published in 1990 with a focus on IT projects. It was revised for general project management and released as PRINCE2 in 1996 and significantly updated in the 2009 and again in 2017 (current) edition with defined sets of principles, themes, processes and tailoring.
PRINCE2 Agile® is a new extension module tailored for forward-thinking organisations and individuals already benefiting from PRINCE2 that would like further guidance on how to apply Agile methods to the world’s most recognized project management method.
** Update: New PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation & Practitioner format pending, expected release Quarter 4, 2018. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.

Training runs for 3 full days and includes all required workbooks and the official manual, the paper exam fee (this is completed on the final afternoon of the course), full catering (on public courses) and an e-certificate. Options available may include our exam guarantee, templates, supporting publications, and a hard copy certificate. Please note that there is preparatory work required prior to this course and evening homework during the course.
PRINCE2 Practitioner Level
Practitioner is a Project Manager level certification, with more than 500,000 certified practitioners not having a PRINCE2 practitioner certificate could put you at a disadvantage when applying for project management jobs in some sectors. At the very least it could put you ahead of the pack! It is only an extra two days on top of the foundation level. CC Learning recommends that if you plan on doing your foundation and practitioner exams you should do it in the same week.

Only 10% of the material is PRINCE2 and therefore your knowledge of this product needs to be current. The majority of the PRINCE2 Agile guidance is new material and will examine how PRINCE2 and Agile techniques and ideas can interact and be adapted to accommodate each other in order to benefit overall management of projects.
Please note that while knowledge of Agile will be valuable for this training, it is not an official requirement to have an Agile background.
